Larry Bodner:
Larry has performed extensively throughout Canada and the United States and has played and recorded with such names as Downchild Blues Band, Muddy Waters, UB40, Shakura S'aida, R & B Motown recording artist Bettye LaVette and Canada's own Lighthouse. During the Gulf war, he toured Germany, Cairo, Cyprus and Israel in the Frontline Show and has played with dozens of local and international artists.
He leads his own Toronto based Jazz quartet, specializing in bebop and jazz standards. In the past, the quartet has performed in various venues for the TD Downtown Jazz Festival. Among other engagements, his rock, blues and jazz stylings have found him performing for Classic Albums Live "Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon" Big Daddy's Crabshack, and The Trane Jazz Studio Bar.
Larry has released his own CD entitled "Still Standin' Still" consisting of jazz standards and original compositions. While a guest performer at the famous Vittello's Jazz restaurant in Los Angeles, he recorded a smooth jazz single entitled "Boodalisious". Larry is currently working on his second CD.
